Lonely Zion Adventure Day

So I ended up alone on Sunday. I asked myself "What do I want to do with my alone time?" I decided to hike miles upon miles in Zion. Some of it in the (very) dark. I also decided to chronicle my little adventure. Once it got dark, I thought to myself "It's a full moon. It will be bright outside." I thought wrong. The moon doesn't come out till really late in Zion and Angel's Landing is a little sketchy coming down in the dark. But I'm alive and typing. So... look at a slide show if you want. I took quite a few pics, so you might want to look at it when you're bored. Or you might want to look at it if you want to procrastinate. It's up to you. And sorry for all the cheesy pics of myself taken by myself. My mom says just nature pictures are boring. "They need people in them." She says. So Mom, there's people in these nature pictures.

Hmm a lot of rocks. And trees. And nature. And ticks?
I just learned about ticks. I'm not excited something like that exists ...
And why did you go hiking alone?! Isn't that dangerous and shit? Dangerous as in ... if a bear is chasing you there would be nobody to shoot in the leg so they stay behind and get eaten while you're escaping...

Ticks sucks. My sister Savannah got one in her ear once when we tromping through the forest together. We had to get it out by burning it's butt with a hot needle. It worked! But that's my only experience with them.

I went hiking alone because there wasn't anyone with me XD. It wasn't dangerous for me because my iPhone has a shotgun app. If that didn't work I could have quickly downloaded a grenade app and would have totally annihilated the bear.

And then I would have eaten him. :D

You have a great eye for scenery pictures, however you are right....I like people in the pic experiencing the scenery! Very glad you got down safely....by the way, there are more wolves than bears in Zion Canyon. In fact I don't ever recall seeing a bear there, or anywhere! :)

K...one more comment. If you ever get lost on a hike and we involve the media to locate you, all we have are these goovy self pics to put on the news and find you by. When they locate you, put a goovy face on so they can recognize you....0)
